Weekly ledger
Bound summary every Friday: entries added, lines corrected, items deferred, files closed. Includes a plain-language note from the desk editor on what carries into next week and which channels go quiet during public holidays.
Context companion
Single-file background piece — consultation timeline, prior coverage summary, defined terms, named sources where attribution allows. Length capped so it stays companion-sized, not a monograph.
Reference card
Pocket format: dates, agencies, key quotes on-the-record, pointer to correction log. Meant to sit beside your own meeting notes rather than replace them.
Volume types are not tiers of urgency — they are tiers of depth. A morning index line may point to a companion published later the same week when a file warrants it. A reference card may summarise a companion when your team only needs dates and agencies for a slide deck.
